Walker Chewning Jr., 2014-2015 GSSCAR State President's Project improved the paved patio area at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia by making it an inviting and comfortable green space for the patients of the hospital and the residents of the The Eagle's Nest, the nursing home wing. He was able to raise funds to purchase: large wooden rocking chairs, planting containers, wheelchair accessible planting containers.
