2026-2027 Georgia State Project & Theme
“Land of the Free, Home of the Brave”
This project is especially meaningful because we care deeply about protecting the world around us and honoring those who protect our freedom. Georgia’s parks and historic sites are true treasures. They connect us to our state’s natural beauty and rich history, and they deserve to be preserved for generations to come.
At the same time, we must never forget the brave men and women serving in our military who make it possible for us to enjoy these freedoms every single day.
Through our theme, “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave,” we aim to inspire others to:
Care for our environment through CONSERVATION
Remember and honor our history through HISTORICAL PRESERVATION
Give back to those who serve our country by supporting our MILITARY
Our goal is to raise $10,000 in support of two meaningful projects that reflect:
"Land of the Free, Home of the Brave”
Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites
Helping fund historic preservation and conservation efforts.
Georgia’s parks and historic sites tell the story of our state while protecting the natural beauty we are so fortunate to enjoy.
Treat the Troops
An organization dedicated to sending care packages to deployed American service members.
Each package serves as a reminder that people back home are grateful and thinking of them.
With a shipping cost of $23 per box, our goal is to fund 250 care packages in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

STATE PROJECT PINS!

The project pin features an eagle with its wings spread wide, soaring proudly above the North Georgia mountains with the American flag behind it.
The eagle represents freedom, bravery, and strength.
The mountains symbolize the beauty of Georgia’s natural landscapes and the importance of protecting our environment.
The American flag reminds us of the courage and sacrifice of those who serve in our military to keep our nation free.
Together, the elements of the logo show how we can honor our country by caring for both our land and the heroes who defend it.
